Terms And Conditions

  1. WHAT THESE WORDS MEAN

    In these terms ("Terms"):

    1. "Account" means your Apron business account;

    2. "Apron", "we", "us", or "our" means Apron Payments Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 13779960), registered office at 201 Bishopsgate, EC2M 3AB, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority;

    3. "Apron Card" means our prepaid business expense card;

    4. "Apron Points" or "Points" means the reward points you earn through the Programme;

    5. "Business Admin" means the person or persons designated as administrators on your Account within your business. For the avoidance of doubt, any accountant or bookkeeper which may have admin rights on your account for other purposes, will not be considered a Business Admin for the purposes of this promotion;

    6. "Completed" means a settled Qualifying Transaction;

    7. "Programme" means the Apron Rewards Programme described in these Terms;

    8. "Qualifying Transaction" means an eligible transaction made using your Apron Card that earns Points; and

    9. "Redemption Options" means the ways you can exchange your Points for rewards.

  2. WHO CAN JOIN
    1. You can participate in the Programme if you:

      1. have an active Apron Account; and
      2. hold a valid Apron Card; and
      3. comply with these Terms and all applicable laws from time to time.
    2. Only Business Admins can redeem Points on behalf of the Account.

    3. We may verify your eligibility at any time and request supporting information.

  3. HOW TO EARN POINTS
    1. The number of Points you earn may vary depending on the type of Qualifying Transaction. Please refer to our website displaying the current rewards rate: https://getapron.com/rewards

    2. Qualifying Transactions include:

      1. purchases made using your Apron Card;
      2. online transactions processed through your Apron Card; and
      3. contactless payments made with your Apron Card.
    3. The following transactions do not earn Points:

      1. Online Cash Transfers;
      2. ATM withdrawals;
      3. E-Money drawdowns or cash withdrawals;
      4. Cryptocurrencies;
      5. money transfers; or
      6. gambling transactions,

      we reserve the right to amend this list of exclusions at any time, without notice, as required to ensure legal and regulatory compliance during the Promotion.

    4. Points are credited to your Account after the transaction becomes Completed which is typically within 2 business days of the transaction being processed.

    5. Points have no expiry date while your Account remains active.

  4. HOW TO REDEEM POINTS
    1. You can redeem Points through the following options:

      1. Cash: Transfer to your Apron Wallet; or
      2. Amazon Gift Cards: Request gift cards through your Apron account.

      Redeem rate will be presented to you in the Apron web app or Apron mobile app when going through the redeem flow

    2. Minimum redemption amounts:

      1. Cash transfers: 100 points minimum; and
      2. Gift cards: £5 minimum.
    3. Maximum redemption amount for gift cards in each redemption is £1,000.

    4. Only Business Admins can initiate redemptions.

    5. Redemptions are processed:

      1. immediately for cash transfers; and
      2. within 10 business days of your request for gift cards.
    6. Once redeemed, Points cannot be refunded or reversed. The redemption by the Business Admin is final.

  5. PROGRAMME CHANGES AND TERMINATION
    1. We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme, for any reason, at any time by giving you written notice.

    2. We may immediately suspend or terminate your participation if:

      1. you breach these Terms;
      2. your Account is closed or suspended;
      3. we suspect fraudulent activity; or
      4. we are required to do so by law or regulation.
    3. Upon termination (for any reason other than those set out in paragraph 6.2), you have 90 days to redeem any remaining Points, after which they will expire.

    4. Changes to the Programme will not affect Points already earned under the previous terms.

  6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. You must:

      1. use your Apron Card in accordance with your card terms and conditions;
      2. provide accurate information for all redemption requests;
      3. notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use of your Account;
      4. comply with all applicable laws and regulations; and
      5. not attempt to manipulate or abuse the Programme.
    2. You must not:

      1. transfer or sell Points to third parties;
      2. create multiple accounts to earn additional rewards;
      3. engage in transactions solely to earn Points without legitimate business purpose; or
      4. use the Programme for any illegal or fraudulent activity.
  7. DATA PROTECTION
    1. We will process your personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws and our privacy policy.

    2. By participating in the Programme, you consent to us processing transaction data to calculate and award Points.

    3. We may use anonymised data about Programme usage for analysis and improvement purposes.

    4. Our privacy policy is available at Privacy.

  8. LIABILITY
    1. Our maximum liability under these Terms is limited to the value of unredeemed Points in your Account.

    2. We are not liable for:

      1. any failure to earn Points due to technical issues with third-party systems;
      2. delays in Point crediting due to payment processing times;
      3. inability to redeem Points due to third-party service unavailability; or
      4. indirect, consequential, or special damages.
    3. Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  9. GENERAL
    1. These Terms are the complete agreement between us regarding the Programme.

    2. English law governs these Terms and English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

    3. If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.

    4. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms.

    5. If we do not enforce a right, that does not mean we have given it up.

    6. Points have no cash value beyond their redemption rate and cannot be transferred.
